I have been teaching Spanish for the last 20 years. My first teaching assignment, in 2002, was giving private lessons to the second secretary to the Japanese Ambassador. In 2005, I began teaching at a respected local school (accredited by the Peruvian Ministry of Education) and have had many diverse experiences while teaching here. I have worked with students of many different nationalities, including students from Asia, Europe, North America, South America (Brasil) and Oceania. I have worked with groups of various sizes, from between 3 to 5 students, up to 14 students at one time. I have been teaching classes at all levels, from beginner to advanced and have also helped students prepare for the DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera), taught Spanish for Business and worked with children and adolescents whose parents have come to Peru for their work. Alternating with working at the school, I also teach private lessons which are tailored to the needs, interests, schedules and preferred meeting places of my students and online. In the past my students have always been referred to me by word of mouth, however I thought it would be more convenient to use modern technology to better organize my classes and so those interested would have better access to information about me and my experience.
